Thinking this week about what I would look for in a care home brought on by a post on X. Would I want somewhere with a cafe, shop, hair salon, etc or would it be best to be in a location where I had access to these things in a local community with support to get to them as I wanted? My thinking now is to go for the latter as this would give me choice about the style of place to have coffee, sit with others in a barbers, and see a concert by someone playing tunes I would like.
